View of the Chrysler Motors Building at the Century of Progress 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. Building is white with 4 sets of vertical slits which appear dark in photo. A rounded 2-story covered deck is in front of the entrance which divides the building in half above 4-story level. A fan-shaped design is over the doorway. An oblong reflecting pool with 4 jets is surrounded by walkways. Some tables with umbrellas are at the side. Steps with a railing lead down to the pool and lower level of the building at the front of the image. Four light poles have 3-tiered dome covered lights. A domed structure is at right rear. "CHRYSLER MOTORS" is on the building. Photo is mounted on an ecru paperboard mat.Photograph Details
