View of the Chrysler Motors Building at the Century of Progress, 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. Dramatic shadow on the left half of the building contrasts with whiteness of the right side of building. Curved 2-story roofed gallery ties two halves of building together. Vertical slits from top to bottom look dark against the facade. An oblong reflecting pool at lower level has 4 waterjets. Steps with railing lead down to pool level from front of photo. Tables with umbrellas are at left. An igloo-like structure is in right background. Four light poles with 3-tier domed tops are visible. "CHRYSLER MOTORS" is on the building. (Photo is from exact angle of M79.11.63 Photo.) Photo is mounted on ecru paperboard mat.Photograph Details
