Twin pagoda-like towers with 7 tiers flanking a white gateway with a tile roof topped with 2 fish beside a central finial, entrance to the "Streets of Shanghai" at the Century of Progress, the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. A sign on the gateway identifies this as such. A hedge-enclosed grassy area is in front. Bases of the pagoda towers have 3 arched windows and a railing encloses a walking area around each tower below the projecting roof of the first tier. A shortened tower with three tiers is beside the right tower. There are some clouds. Glossy photo is mounted on an ecru paperboard mat.Photograph Details
