Caption printed under the image "CHERRY FARM. RESIDENCE JNO. R. CASE, ESQ." There is a label under that caption that reads "Case's 'Cherry Farm' extended from Poplar to York and from St. Charles Rd. south to I.C. tracks. In 1880's had 1,000 cherry and 600 apple trees. Later G. Porter."
