On the back in green ink handwriting reads "from Alben Bates 10/7/67." Typing on a rectangle of paper attached to the back reads "The recent reception of the Foreign Commissioners of the World's Fair at 'Byrd's Nest' was an enjoyable affair...Graphic Magazine - October 19, 1891." There is a purple stamp reading "BROUSE & MARTIN 103 Adams St." on the back. Printed in white in lower front right corner is "Brouse and Martin Photos" "1488" printed in white in lower front left corner.
