Embroidered but unfinished gentlemen's waistcoat panels, probably French, 1770s, - of woven ivory silk embroidered with undulating bands of gold thread and green and brown chenille, pink foil blossoms, periwinkles and briar roses worked in chainstitch silks and gold thread, the pocket flaps are loosely applied, the button-holes are uncut, each chest panel 42cm, 16 1/2in wide (2) (Qty: 2)
