In 1922, Alfred and Marie-Louise Laflamme from Quebec bought this dairy farm in Exeter. It was once known as the “Herrin Place” or “Melvin Farm”. After losing both parents, the seven children along with their maternal grandfather, Regis Mercier, continued working the family farm. It remained in the Laflamme family until 1975.
