California is the home of the film industry, but not only in Hollywood. The little town of Niles in Fremont, California, is where Charlie Chaplin filmed some of his earliest films and where the Bronco Billy west-erns were born. These, as well as Hollywood legends such as Bette Davis, Audrey Hepburn, and child star Shirley Temple dancing with Bo Jangles, are remembered in my filmstrip art quilt, “Movie Memories.”
