This painting is from my photograph of members of Ballet Folklorico dancing at the 2018 Women’s March in Petaluma. Ballet Folklorico promotes the rich history of folk dances of Mexico. My perception of the dream is that the people of California will create and model an environment for people of all races, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual preferences to prosper economically, culturally, educationally, politically, and socially.
