“Popping Up” is an art quilt that represents the Golden State and its state flower, the California poppy. Poppies are such a happy flower filling the fields in California with a splash of orange and yellow hues. Being born and raised in California, the poppy has always been one of my favorite flowers and one that I use in my art quilts.
