Use a magnifying glass to look closely at this silver print contact sheet!
A contact sheet is a peek into the photographer’s process and quest for the perfect shot. Photographers that take pictures using a roll of film don’t see the images they capture until the film is developed into negatives. A contact sheet shows many negatives at once. The photographer often uses this sheet to decide which frames to enlarge and share.
Can you find which frames the artist picked to print for this exhibit? Why do you think he picked those images?
