Beechwood Academy was near N Academy Road and W 100 N (southwest of Boggstown), but was often referred to as near Fairland. It was founded by the Seventh-Day Adventist church. In 1919, after looking at several different towns, Beechwood Academy moved to Cicero and became Indiana Academy.Collection
