This painting depicts a stream of water emerging from a fountain head into a pond with lily pads. It is an early work of artist Ernest Peixotto, a friend of the Bourns who painted the murals in the Ballroom, who trained in painting in France from 1888 to 1896. During his studies, he traveled to Giverny, France, to study Impressionist painting at the Atelier of Claude Monet. This painting can be seen in the Hallway in front of the Ballroom.
