The Lerma is a medium to large projectile point, ovoid in shape, made with broad percussion flaking with finer percussion flaking along the edges. The Lerma point was first identified at the Diablo Canyon Site in the Lerma Valley, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The distribution of the Lerma point ranges from the Great Lakes into Central America.Context
