A replica of the old Stage Coach Inn

Context

This structure served as a stagecoach stop near Bluewater Creek and was likely built in 1812, just before treaties with the Cherokee and land sales opened much of Lauderdale County to white settlers. The land and home were purchased by Daniel White in 1818. His descendant, Clifford White, built this replica from a photograph and from information handed down by his great grandfather.
