Description

The Sykes point is a medium sized, triangular point form. The blade is commonly excurvate but may be straight. Shallow corner notches are the identifying features of this point. The stem is short and straight to slightly expanding; the base is wide and straight to slightly concave. It is named for the Sykes Place (now the Eva Site) in Benton County, TN.
