Description

The Stanfield point is a medium to large sized, lanceolate point. The blade is excurvate with a parallel hafting area. The base is usually straight but is occasionally convex. Most Stanfield points have a retouched blade and base. The point was named for the Stanfield-Worley Bluff Shelter site in Colbert County, AL.
