The Gary point type is a thick, medium to large point with a triangular shape. The blade is straight to excurvate. The shoulders are typically squared. It has a contracting stem and pointed or rounded base. The point can be identified by its crude workmanship and thick circumference. The point was first identified at the George C. Davis Site in Cherokee County, TX.
