This is a letter of thanks written by Robert J. Rhodes to the Lambeth family in 1908. Rhodes was returning to his home in Whiteville, TN and stopped into the home of the Lambeths. He had spent time in the house in 1863 as a soldier with Company E of the 3rd Tennessee Cavalry (C.S.A.)
