This sherd probably falls in
the range of AD 500-
AD 1000. It is relatively
thin and well-made with
oxidized surface. It
is from the rim/neck area of a globular jar.
The time period would be
called Glades I or II. It is
difficult to determine much with a single decorated sherd,
so a later sample would be helpful.
