Based on McGown 199[?] Prehistoric Peoples of South FL and Marquardt 1992 Culture and Environment in the Domain of the Calusas This sherd probably falls in the range of AD 500- AD 1000. It is relatively thin and well-made with oxidized surface. It is from the rim/neck area of a globular jar. The time period would be called Glades I or II. It is difficult to determine much with a single decorated sherd, so a later sample would be helpful. [WRITTEN ON RIGHT MARGIN] from Archaeologist
