Know all [ms illegible] by these presents,
That we Robert Albury and Patience
Albury of the County of Monroe and
State of Florida, for and in considera-
Tion of the sum of five dollars to us
In hand paid, the receipt whereof we do
Hereby acknowledge, have given, granted,
Bargained, and sold, and do by these pre-
Ents do give, grant, bargain, sell and convey

Samuel Johnson
Robert Albury

And County aforesaid, and to their suc-
Cessors in office___ all that piece of
Land on Key Largo in Lot two (2), Sec-
Tion Thirty four (34), township Sixty-
Two (62) south of Range Thirty eight
(38), on which the building now used
As a house of worship stands, it being
A lot seventyone [six](71) feet by lone hundred
And eighty five feet (185) containing 293/968
(two hundred and ninety three nine hundred
And sixty eighth parts of an acre)__to

Have and to hold the said lot of land
Unto them the said trustees and their
successors in office forever in trust
for the Methiodist [Sic] Episcopal Church
south.
And the said Robert and Patience
Albury do hereby [Ms illegible] and agree to
And with the said trusstees [sic] and their suc
Cessors in office that they are law-
Fully seized in fee of the above-grant
Ed lot of land, and have good and
Legal right to sell and convey the
Same to them the said trustees and their
Successors in office, and that they will
And their heirs and [ms illegible] shall war-
Rant and defend the same to them the
Said trustees and their successors in
Office forever against the lawful
Claim of all persons whose so ever
Claiming the same.
Provided, [ms illegible] that
These presents are upon the express-

said Trustees and their Successors
in office shall at all hours per-
mit such ministers and preachers be-
longing to the Methodist episcopal
churchs [sic] south, as shall from time

To time be duly authorized by the gen-
Eral conference to preach and ex-
Panned God’s Holy Word and to Exer-
Cise the discipline of the Church
And to administer the Sacraments, in
The present House of Worship, E-
rected on said lot, or any other such
House as may hereafter be erected
Thereon; and to occupy unmolest-
Ed, and parsonage that may be e-
Rected thereon
In witnesses whereof the
Said Robert and Patience Albury
Have hereunto set their hands and
seals this twenty fifth day
of November in the year of our Lord

My said husband, do hereby declare
that I became a party to, and did sign
the foregoing deed of conveyance for the

Purpose of reliuquishing [sic] and renouncing
All my dower and right and title to dower
In and to the land and premises there-
In conveyed; and that I did the same
Freely and voluntarily and without any
Compulsion, constraint, apprehension
Or fear of or from my said husband.

Robert Albury and Patience Albury
Personally known to me, and known to
Be the individuals who signed and ex-
Ecuted the foregoing deed of conveyance,
And acknowledged the same to be their free,
Voluntary act and deed afterward.
To wit, on the same day, came the said

Patience Albury wife aforesaid, and by
me being duly examined, separate and
apart from her said husband, acknowl-
edged that she signed the foregoing
relinquishment and renunciation of
dower freely and voluntarily for the
Purposes therein expressed.
