This is from the days of plague rabbits. This was a rabbit fumigator called the exterminator. The barrel was filled with, like, straw, pine needles, gum leaves. The idea was to light it, turn the handle at its speed where it only pushed the smoke out without igniting the fuel inside. It was mixed with cyanide powder to kill rabbits in burrows. Very rare to find one in working condition.Collection
