This is rather an unusual lamp. These are referred to as a radiator lamp. The reason for these were they were hung under the front end of very early cars before they decided to build garages. The heat radiated up from the lamp to the, either the radiator or the motor to stop cracks from freezing. Large oils, fuel tanks so they burnt for perhaps 12 hours. Very scarce piece to find.Collection
