This is a classic Shearer's bike, done it up with a Brook seat made in England specifically for Australian use. A little homemade carry rack on the back, it has the valetace, a leather valetace, strung in the frame of the bike, was commonly used by shearers for putting clothing or anything else in. It would have been fixed wheel, no gears, no brakes. This bike was fitted with the classical thorn proof tires, that resisted the Bindies.
