This is an Australian made lamp with a plaque, E.A. Harper, Redfern. This lamp is referred to as a stable lamp, glass panels all the way around. The principle behind that was not to create shadows in the stables that would have spooked a horse, so the light was radiated out in an even fashion. Beautifully made protector frame around the glasses, nice fluted top.Collection
