This is, one of the original Bedourie ovens, that were produced by Simpson and Son in Adelaide under the instruction of RM Williams. The lid has a beautiful stamping of Simpson. These ones are by far the Scarcest Bedourie ovens to find. The lid has been vandalized by putting welding 3 bolts into the top. The base is the same with 3 nuts welded on. The 3 bolts screw either into the base or the lid for further cooking comfort but are not original.Collection
