Description

This is referred to commonly as a knotmeter. The, it has a heavy woven cord that won't undo under any rotation. It has a lead weight to keep the propeller part, spinning in the water behind the boat. In the boat is the meter which gives you the speed you're travelling through the water by the rotation of the rope from the propeller. Unusual to see these 3 parts together. Beautifully made, very early, Really hard to find.
