This is a set of roller drums used in the process of the sheep wash. These were manufactured in Carlton by Bonnington Engineering on behalf of Sharp who was a station hand at Jamieson Stony Point property. There was a painting done of the Barunah Plains sheep wash in 1961, which clearly shows the role of these rollers in the sheep wash. Very hard to find. The sheep were laid out on the rollers and rotated on them as they were washedCollection
