This is an unusual piece, very hard to find. These were a tin bath with a lid that were used by people traveling long distances overland in horse drawn drays and carriages. This they were held together by heavy strapping, which strapped them onto the load. Rarely found with the lid and the straps. A marvellous early piece of domestic useCollection
