Description

This is a canister with a hinged lid. This was used as an insect repellent tin which burnt pine needles, brass, and usually dried cow dung. They were placed so that they smouldered with the smoke coming out the perforated ring around the top. They work very efficiently. This one is in lovely condition. They're rarely found.
