Description

This handpiece is one of the rarest in the Dangar collection. This was designed by a fellow by the name of Richard Dickinson. It's a very early, experimental type design. Unique in its body. Full brass, totally different to anything else. This has one of the original combs with it and a very solid 1 piece cutter. This equipment was exhibited at the Sydney show in 1890, the steel rope drive was covered by a sheath of cotton reels and subsequently it easily tangled withy the fleece, Because of its rarity and its completeness and its Australian origins,
