This item, is a very heavy cast iron bowl. Works in the same fashion as a mortar and pestle, supposedly for crushing small pieces of gold bearing quartz. Has an agent's plaque of Gregory, but very little known about it. This came from the Gold Mining District in Western Australia.Collection
