This is a cast brass wire strainer. It is called the Crown Patent from the Crown Company. This is a post type that works on a threaded wheel to rotate the, hub for the wire. This was in the first half a dozen patents of wire strainers in Australia. Very rare, still in workable condition. 1889Collection
