These are tin protecting guards that went around the straight spoke friction wheel from the early, shaft driven shearing machines. These guards were made by the Sedan Company, and the agent was Winchcombe Cars Carson, Brisbane. Very hard to find. These were required as the early straight soke wheels had a tendency to shatter and fly apart. Early OH&SCollection
