These are known as Water Monkeys. These date back to the early days of, the German potters that came into South Australia. No identification on them. Cog work to the shoulder. These had a saucer underneath, and they were kept in a breezeway so that the porous water kept the porous form of terracotta allowed the water to seep, which kept it cool in a breeze. Quite hard to find these days.Collection
