This is a Taylor's flat iron stove. 6 flat surfaces. A ring at the bottom to hold the iron so the heat from the coal fire is transmitted through the surface into the iron. Has a grate in the bottom. Very unusual and hard thing to find. Usually used by country tailors in small towns.Collection
