This is a set of tinder box, light tinned circular box with lid. This would have consisted of a piece of flint, piece of high carbon steel and carbonized cotton under the lid in the tin. This one has a candle holder inserted in the front for when you get your fire going. Very hard to find. A wonderful early piece of history in Australia.Collection
