This is a fold away lamp, used in both the First and Second World War. These were known as a tank lamp. This one has a plaque of Harper and Sons, 1910 no. 1915 Redfern, New South Wales. These are reasonably hard to find. They have they fold up into a flat pack and fit into a rectangular flat carry case. They were also made by the English, So there's English and Australian versions.Collection
