This is another wonderful piece of, improvisation and ingenuity. This kettle has a base roughly 10 inches across. Not a large capacity water, but it would have been very quick to boil because of the area that sits on top of the stove or the fire. Tin handle, tin lid, let, lid with a tin spout.
