This is a delightful bit of tinware again. This is, in fact, a spirit burner for boiling, perhaps water or heating food. It has a hinge lid, a delightful handle with a bowl at the bottom for holding the spirit. This would be a methylated spirit burner and a perforated base to reduce the heat expanding.
