A classic piece of early improvisation. These are a completely homemade set of Haymes that would have got on a horse. All the hooks and loops and the chain are all hand forged. The haymes themselves have iron strappings to keep them in, shape, and the internals are all hardwood. These are a wonderful pair dating back, I would say, well before the Depression. Hard to put an age on them, but all homemade and a lovely bit of Australian ingenuity.Collection
