This is from the Chinese collection. this is a Chinese RICE measurer. This is described as a merchant's measure. Quite a large piece, handle either side. 2 people would have carried this. It is braced with, strips of metal on the corners and on the handles right across the base to strengthen. Quite an interesting piece.Collection
