Oil lamp. This is a small earthenware, vessel with a pull up on the front. This has been salt glazed and wood fired. It is a copy of the earthenware lamps that were used to keep the oil in in, the lights on sailing ships. Don't know where this one's made. It has a little chip in the spout, but, a pretty uncommon piece.Collection
