This is a spare part for Coleman lamps and following is a description of what it is and how it works. Inside the tube, the T66 contains packing material and a tiny cleaning needle. As pressurized liquid fuel travels up the generator, the heat from the lantern's burning mantle vaporizes the liquid into a gas. Over time, these generators can get clogged with carbon deposits, causing the lantern to dim, which is why the T66 is sold as a replaceable, disposable maintenance part
