This is a unique garden sprinkler, most likely for your lawn. It would have sat in the middle of the lawn and rotated, sending out quite a fine shower of rain. It's interesting in its design. It uses very long and short spokes and at the end of each spoke there are small pin holes where the water was sprayed out. The pin holes have been carefully aligned to send the water in various directions. I imagine it would have been quite a spectacular sprinkler when in operation. It also would have required the water to be well filtered because the small water outlets would block up easily.
