This is a tin of self-raising flour, Sunny South Self Raising Flour, made by J. McKay and Sons PTY LTD in Ballarat. This tin would have had the flour sold in it but the tin was intended to be kept because on the reverse side it has self-raising flour without any marketing. This so that you could place the tin on a shelf in the kitchen and it would become a kitchen canister for long-term use. A very unusual tin to find and it is great that it is in such good condition.
