Stove pipe top hat, 8" high. Brim is oval shaped and approximately 12 7/8" x 11". Crown is also oval shaped and approximately 7 5/8" x 7 1/4". Black ribbon is affixed to area where the crown joins the brim. There is no interior lining, but glue marks suggest that there may have been a lining at one time. Inside crown of hat is written in pencil "7 1/4 Jack Wiley [?] No 1". Hat may be made from beaver felt or brushed silk.
