Description

Lustreware pitcher, bronze colored with blue decorative flower band around middle. Base is slightly scuffed, and there is one large chip out of it. Measures 4 inches tall, 3 1/4 inches wide at center, 2 inches wide at base, 2 5/8 inch wide brim, 5 inches wide spout tip to handle end. Handle is 3 inches tall. Pitchers such as these are listed in packing lists for sale in the Sale Shop at Fort Nisqually as well as other Hudson Bay Company forts, and could be found in the homes of the laborers as well as the officers of the company.
