Description

91 inch long string of trade beads, "white bugle". Each bead is quite small, measuring about 3/8 inches to 1/2 inches in length and about 3/8 inches in diameter. Authenticated by Derrel Thiel of WSHS on 9/14/1982. This style of trade bead entered the Pacific Northwest around the 1850s or 1860s, and was in use up until the 1920s.
