Missing one leather strap on front, interior in fairly good condition, lined with narrow striped blue and white ticking fabric. Inside the lid there is a center divider that folds down, with a red leather pocket attached; 9 1/2 inches long by 6 1/2 inches, closed by a flap and two straps. Also, red cotton twill tape is tacked down across the underside of the divider in a diamond pattern. On the bottom of the case is a paper label glued to lining that reads: "Manufactory, Smiths Buildings, Leadenhall Street. Wine & Beer Cases of All Sizes" in the upper corners, but the main text reads: "Henry Pound & Son, Trunk, Chest, Box and Packing Case Manufacturers.
